Welcome to “Čiauškutis,” a day social care center dedicated to providing comprehensive support for children aged 2 to 12 with disabilities. Our mission is centered around reducing social exclusion, fostering mental and physical development, and preparing children for integration into society and mainstream education.
At “Čiauškutis,” we create a nurturing environment equipped with educational rooms, a physiotherapy hall, a playroom with a ball pool, and a swimming pool for therapeutic exercises and play. Our center aims to enhance mutual communication between children and their families, offering a platform to share experiences and support each other through challenges and successes.
We also prioritize supporting parents by increasing their opportunities for employment through the care and services we provide. Our facilities include a conference room with state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment for workshops and meetings.
Volunteers are integral to our community, assisting in educational activities, recreational sessions, and supporting children’s development. Each volunteer is accommodated in a comfortable apartment with a private room, provided with a monthly allowance covering food and pocket money, and given a public transport ticket.
